Wonderful place to stop and eat. Outside bar and a dining area and bar inside. Cozy, friendly and good food.
First impression left a little to be desired. We had ordered three separate orders for a total of 12 people and when we arrived to pick up our to-go orders a man (I presume a manager) was working at the register at the window. He neither told us he'd be with us in a minute nor acknowledged us. We waited for a few minutes until a server came by and asked if someone was helping us to which we explained no one was assisting us. She promptly got us our food and thanked us for our patronage. When we arrived home with our food we were pleased with the overall quality of our food. We ordered a variety of pulled pork, smoked chicken, and fried catfish. Ultimately, the food was well cooked. The quantities of the sides were a little on the slim side but were savory. The Mississippi Mud Pie was sweet and delectable. The banana pudding was less so. BBQ places are a dime-a-dozen and this place is better than most other BBQ places we visit. For something quick and enjoyable, I would recommend Moe's Original.
