I highly recommend Bistro217!!!
Everything else was absolutely spot on! My party of 11 was easily accommodated during at an odd time of day for lunch or dinner. The staff were true professionals (Linda was our server) and very welcoming. The food was absolutely fantastic! Presentation was over the top and more than adequate helpings. Taste and seasoning was perfect!
This would be 5 stars, but due to lack of food allergy options - I must give only four. However, the entire staff was VERY accommodating. Only if you have or know someone who does have nut and dairy allergies as my fourth daughter does - you know how difficult it can be to "accommodate" this special dietary need. There is several Gluten free options on the menu, but that doesn't cut it at all when it comes to this life threatening food allergies (nut).
As always " Awesome" meal, never disappointed. Brought out of town visitors they said we down played how good the food is. They can not wait to go back again ...we are lucky enough to enjoy Bistro weekly.
My experience was, the atmosphere was very comfortable, nicely decorated and a warm greeting. The waiter was very good. He came to the table promptly, gave a very good explanation of the specials and was very attentive. The water glasses were refilled before they were emptied. My entry was only ok. I had a grouper dish and the grouper was dry a flavorless. The spinach and potatoes were very good. My wife had a trigger fish dish that was delicious. I would return but I would try something other than the grouper.
Food was very good. Cost is very fair all things considered. Only complaint was that we waited 19 minutes after being brought bread and water before we met our server. Very nice staff. Maybe our server simply wasn't informed we were there. Who knows. We drove up from Charleston (77miles) and hope to make a return visit soon.
Eggplant Treasure Chest is my favorite! Also love the salads and the vegetable quesadilla for lunch. I've never had a bad meal here.
