I love this restaurant! The staff and owner/ chef welcomed us right away. We were desperately searching for fried scallops but it wasn't on the menu. When we thanked the hostess and told her, she was quick to ask the chef/owner if he could accommodate our desire and he did! We got the perfect seafood lunch with amazing service and a personal greeting and conversation from the chef. Our lunch was delicious and more than affordable for the high end quality of the food. In fact, this talented chef made better food than the fine dining seafood restaurant we went to a few days later. I'll be going back to Southern Comforts the next time I'm on vacation in Pawley's!
Cozy and warm. Great comfort food. Good prices and friendly staff. Good selection of baked goods and cocktails also.

What can I say. It has it all!!! Great clean food, all fresh, really nice staff and funny waitress!! owner and chef were awesome and explained all their foods. Kid friendly, spacious.. Cant even begin to tell you about the desserts!! had an awesome Trout!
