There is nothing positive that I can say about my experience. The order was wrong, the food was cold and under cooked. The staff seemed that they would rather I didn't even come in. I definitely won't in the future.
Horrible would be putting it nicely. I even asked if they had any hot grits. The ladies were more interested in conversing amongst themselves rather actually waiting on their customers.
I love Waffle House, but I did something yesterday that I had never done before... My family walked out of the restaurant after being seated. The music was ridiculously loud, particularly for 6:30 in the morning. It sounded like a nightclub, and we couldn't hear each other even talk. When we asked if they could turn it down, we were informed that they couldn't because it was controlled from their locked office. We left. This was my second visit to this Waffle House within the last two months. The last experience was equally as bad, because our friends who had to sit at other booths had finished their meals (different wait staff) before we had even gotten our meals. Advice to other travelers...There is a great Applewood Pancake House a few miles down in Pawleys.
Great customer service. Friendly welcome. Excellent made to order cook.
Food ok, morning shift crew is the best of service.
