Every time I am at Pawleys I stop in here. This bookstore has a great range of new and used books, something for every taste. Get your beach reads and classics here! They also provide nothing but the best in customer service. Highly recommended!!

If you're looking for a seeming limitless supply of romance novels and overly-high prices for overly-used books, this is the bookstore for you. The staff kept a close eye on me as I wandered through the bookshelves and seemed to follow my every move. She didn't want me to move her books from the shelves and certainly discouraged me from reshelving them myself. On my way out the door, already feeling harassed, she caught me one last time, asking where I placed the books I had been carrying. I told her I had replaced them on the shelf and walked out, leaving her flustered and upset. I will not be returning to this bookstore, and I strongly discourage others from visiting it as well.

The prices are ridiculous for used books; considering the condition many of these books are in, half the cover price is far too much. There is no nonfiction section. The staff is pushy, rude, and overbearing. What should have been a pleasant experience was rendered unpleasant and rushed.
